BeTomorrow was approached by a former customer affiliated with Milicare's parent company. The situation is simple: the insurance landscape is changing rapidly. New digital pure players, the Assurtechs, are shaking things up by offering competitive and attractive products, while some of the traditional players are broadening their offerings to attract and retain customers. It was crucial to take the measure of these changes and design a platform of high added value services.

During the course of the project, our teams migrated Milicare's infrastructure from Amazon Web Services (AWS) to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a view to future migration to S3NS, thus guaranteeing data hosting in France.
We introduced the concept of agility to a customer accustomed to V-cycle and fairly cumbersome processes that lengthen lead times. To achieve this, we implemented several elements:
The implementation of collective intelligence solutions enabling the development of products based on new business expertise for our customer.
A system of knowledge sharing, collaborative technical design and regular peer review, to create a culture of collaboration and first-rate quality.
Close interaction and collaboration within the team, as well as with the customer, facilitated rapid decision-making and daily adaptation of the plan.
The implementation of refinement and prioritization techniques without recourse to story points, which strengthened collaboration in a highly Discovery-oriented context (#NoEstimate).
The implementation of continuous improvement practices, based on Kanban flow metrics.
Our teams successfully rebranded the Milicare brand to meet the following challenges:
Adapt to market changes,
Ensure a good public perception of the brand,
Meet the company's internal development needs,
Support the company's name change.
To achieve this goal, our teams had to meet often very tight deadlines. Because of the company's construction phase, new stakeholders were arriving regularly, which meant constantly meeting new requirements. A variety of visuals had to be produced in addition to the initially packaged UX/UI, including animations, key visuals for communication and product vision screens. This approach contributed to customer satisfaction, as well as that of the application's alpha/beta testers.

We met the stringent requirements of Milicare concerning sovereign cloud and security, which led us to migrate the infrastructure from AWS to GCP (S3NS-compatible). This migration represented a necessary choice that required a complete overhaul of the existing system, including our CI system.
Milicare offers its members a wide range of services via its dedicated platform. Its interface offers a host of practical services, including promotional offers on major brands and high value-added benefits such as career coaching.
